Yes we have springtails and wood lice in there. So presuming I will have to replace the wood lice on a regular basis.
I agree with pubity and also with getting out. He loves to free range.
and the light is a heat and light combo as you say but I haven’t got the light for the plants yet.
So I have read a couple of the threads about males digging and not seen a definitive answer.
I have a young male cham. Made sure he is male by looking at his ‘bump’ we have recently changed to a bio set up. Which looked beautiful.
Now beans has decided to flipping dig it all up and made a right...
Brilliant stuff. I will spend time gathering everything I need and I can free range him and also laundry basket as I have a large ficus in my orangery that’s is nice and warm. The summer has finally started here so we have some good temps.
thanks so much everyone ????
Morning! So I have sat and read the blog you have suggested. All very interesting and achievable. But I only have the 1 enclosure. Is there a way I can do this without buying another tank?

Thanks for your feedback. We spent £500 on the set up so I can’t afford to purchase a whole new tank.
what would you suggest I do for starters? The bulbs are again what we were advised. A red light for heat and a uv bulb. We have struggled to keep the temp high so i Got a heat Mat that’s helped.
All of this was sold to us new from the pet store when we bought him. He advised us to get everything including the coir. We completely clean everything every 2 weeks and change the bedding.
the black stuff has only appeared 2 weeks ago- we have have him 2 months now.
Hi guys
So I have had my first reptile, a chameleon, for 2 months now.
He shed over a week ago (first one) all looked good. But yesterday and today I have seen he has flakey black ash looking stuff on his head and face. When I gently blow it, it comes off. He is grumpy - less then when he shed...
