Banded crickets are quiet if you have access to them. It is not uncommon to not see your cham drinking. As long as his urates are white, you know he is hydrated. Setup a dripper as added insurance.

Congrats! My cham had the same stressed colors when I got him. He should brighten up by tomorrow as he gets more comfortable. Limit interaction with him for 2 or 3 weeks.

As long as you get the temps you need at the basking spot and your cham can’t burn itself, you’re good. Hold your hand under the lamp. If it’s not burning you, you should be fine.
