Aww they are so beautiful Jann, and the parents are sooooo awesome too. You must be over joyed. I wished I didn't live so far away..... I'd love one of the little guys.:D:D:D
LOLOLOLOL.... I have to agree there, by far the hardest work and the most intensive husbandry is the 'old man'! Mind you have considered changing his feeders and regulating his temps! :D:D:D

I agree with Tiff and Jan, my two veileds are sweet and well natured, come out readily for a walk about, feed from my hand and as long as I'm not wearing any colours that they react to, are never aggressive, but I've had them since they were 8wks old and hand fed them from the start, kept...
Gosh, I'm sooo glad to find this thread... my hubby just got me a box of these little critters and said as they are arboral the cham's would love em...... mmmmm I think that I'll make sure they are ALL eaten and this is the last box! It's bad enough having the odd cricket escape!:eek:
My female veiled seems to be more friendly if I'm wearing black, but is very hissy if I'm wearing white. My male veiled seems to react to vibrant reds, and my male panther seems to like my blue grey fluffy jumper, coming straight out of his cage and running up my arm, he's usually very shy...
I got three Bearded Pygmy Chams and a pair of Ambato panthers (pic's in another thread) from my gorgeous hubby, and far too many boxes of choccies and bottles of wine from others.... oh and plenty of anti-ageing potions and lotions from my mum!!!!!! Think she might be trying to tell me...
I've just found this thread and found it facinating... and not to hijack it but..
we found this spider in Sri Lanka on holiday.... very pretty.. and always wondered what it was... am thinking it was a jumping spider of some sort.
We got them from a pet shop in catford London.
