maybe it is the temp the ambient was up to 80. i dont think she should have felt threatened no one was around her when she started doing it and she is not aggressive
i saw Zoo med habba mist at a local repltile store and i was wondering if it was worth spending the $70 on that mister. Has anyone had these and how well did they work?
yea i have been reading a lot about different setups and i have a fairly good idea on what i am gonna do. Just gotta order my cage and find somewhere to buy a good plant to put in it.
that is true i could always section it off if needed 18x18x36 should be ok for an adult female Jackson too right. Then again by then i am sure i will build her a bigger custom cage.
ok thanks a lot brad i appreciate the input. The only reason i was curious was because yesterday morning when i woke up it was about 60 degrees in the cage and she went straight for the basking light as soon as i turned it on.
would you recommend Fluker's calcium diet and cricket quencher as a good gutload? i planned on using Rep-Cal Calcium with Vitamin D3.(which i would use once a week approx?). and something that is calcium with no vitamin d for daily dusting? sorry for all the questions just wanna get a good idea...
I have recently bought a female juvenile jackson cham from petsmart. i bought a 10 gallon aquarium just for the time being till i get a new cage. my question is should i buy a 38 gallon reptarium until she gets a little older, or should i skip that and just go straight to a 18x18x36 aluminum...
yea i was just using a 60 watt bulb for a basking lamp but i needed something to keep the temp up in the cage at night. just wondering if i could use that as her basking lamp.
