    US Grapevine for sale?

A while back, there was discussion about grapevines, I think some wanted to buy some? Well, I'm clearing a ton out right now, soooooo... If there is still interest, let me know .

    Planting trees and harvesting bugs?

Ifci picked a smallish hornworm off a potato leaf, is there a waiting period of feeding buttercrunch lettuce before the worm is safe for the veiled?

    Calcium in water?

It sure does. I've got things to do today, but I WILL look at it this afternoon and get back to you. Send me your email if you'd like, it'll be easier than answering in this thread :)

What will we run out of next? Finding alternatives?

My 'normal' method was to run into town 1-2x week, since I'm only feeding the one. I may have to refigure this. Thanks SO much for checking!

    Panic in the streets

And sadly, posts like this lead to panic buying. Even more sadly, even if I WANTED to panic buy/stock up, we can't - husband's boss has been stingy with the paychecks ?.

What will we run out of next? Finding alternatives?

First it was toilet paper (which actually has only been around for ~140 years), milk (which was actually on the shelves Monday!), masks (should only be used if you are ill, and is causing a shortage for health workers ?), soaps (I make my own, no worries there), and of course sanitizer... and...

    Panic in the streets

We've had trouble finding sugar and other staples, but have now found some out of the way stores that aren't sold out. I agree, and if I can help from Texas, let me know.

    A matter of smell.....

WoW. I adore the sound of crickets, it just always seemed magical and soothing to me. Guess I'm just an odd one, LoL.

Does This Happen To Anyone Else?

All 4 of our dogs, yup yup yup! The Calico cat (goddess, She who must be obeyed, etc.) DEMANDS drinks from the faucet as well. Loki (one of our Arabs) also loves to play with the water hose, go figure - Arabians are supposed to hate water ?.

    A matter of smell.....

While I have no suggestions on what to do to eliminate the non-existent odor, I do want to extend condolences that you are having to deal with this issue. It confuses me how you have had these animals for so long without controversy regarding 'odor'. My personal opinion is that no matter what...

However, are you sure that they are stink bugs? "Squash bugs are often mistaken for stink bugs, as they are similar in appearance and both have a foul odor when squashed. However, stink bugs are wider and rounder than squash bugs." Old Farmer's Almanac › pest › s...

    Calcium in water?

Hmmm. Okay, as to the branches, I must indeed admit I based these on images resulting from extensive searching. Here are some screenshots showing the basis of my logic: Looking at your image, I see a thorny vine... I would have hesitated, due to fear of damage to the feet via punctures, I...

    Ruminating on •edible?• local insects

During my little walkabout, I noticed more butterflies are out, and so are the ticks. Of course, now that I am owned by a Cham (veiled), the first thing I thought when I picked the tick off, was - I wonder if she can eat this? It gets me to wondering, what other indigenous bugs could be...

    Where DO parasites come from?

I was thinking about this... Two parasite free chameleons make babies. Babies should be free, even those hatched from eggs, right? Does a parasite infection come from their food? If so, then is it bad husbandry on the part of the *food* breeders? From the air that they breath? From their...
