hornworms can be awesome for hydration, (not too big or too many lol) the bright color might hopefully stimulate some eating. I got my chameleon very sick too, if they're already making strides and you house them as needed, they should bounce back. best of luck.

i haven’t yet, that’s on my to do list. i want to remove the dirt, i just want to do it in the best way possible. she isn’t a fan of being brought out of her terrarium, (yet, we’re gonna work on hand training) so i don’t want to have to take her out, but i also don’t want to disturb her a whole...

not like she has been, stands much more taller when walking around too

good to know, bare bottom seems much more manageable

shes doing pretty well!! eating everyday if not every other at least, right now debating possible draining options for the cage. i’ve also noticed most cages don’t have coconut substrate or any sort of ‘soil’ matter, if that’s not necessary i’m sure that would make it easier.

im just so worried about taking her out again, she hates going in the box. i only want to force her out if there’s absolutely no other option.

just calcium, but i’m under the impression that she wasn’t the best vet. she seems to get less active everyday

update: in less than a week the progress she's made is awesome! we still have a ways to go but so far, she's improving well. thanks for all the help (:

what schedule would you recommend?

i did, they said she could be laying eggs soon so i’m doing research on lay bins, i haven’t seen her go to the bottom let alone dig. she was prescribed liquid calcium but she’s been stressed so i don’t want to syringe feed it to her i’m trying to find ways to put it into food.

she’s been drinking fairly well, doesn’t seem to bask but i just got a heat gun & realized basking was too hot so that might help

daytime temp of house stays around 70, with her being next to the window the bottom corner of her cage gets to about 63, she’s never down there though

• my chameleon - marley, they said she was 2 but vet thinks a little bit younger, somewhere around 1 & 1/2 • handling - recently, had to switch enclosures & go to vet all other times only when needed • feeding - crickets, roaches, wax worms, meal worms, horn worms (starting silk worms today)...

sounds good. was thinking that, just didn’t want to make the rest of the tank cold, i’ll see what i can do to prop it up. any other changes?
