    Mellari free range question

My Mellers doesnt seem to want to bask as often as other chameleons I have owned. Is it normal for them to go sit in the darkest part of their free range for a lot of the day? Trying to think of ways to get him to roam more.

    Norman's new mini free range

Found some ficus for around $9 so bought a few. Put them on the counter behind my couch after washing and repotting. He seems to really like it for the few hours a day I put him in it. He loves his cage, but always comes to the door wanting out when I get home. He keeps his mellow colors on...

"Let the enclosure fully dry between mistings"

Is this always necessary? No matter what I do, it is never completely dry between mistings. I'd have to wait at least a day between mistings for this to happen. I have a dripper going and the enclosure never fully dries out (Especially the floor!) I do have paper towel to soak up some of...

    Moisture/water content

Are orange pieces and Hornworms a source of hydration/water for a chameleon? The reason I ask, is since I have started feeding him these two items, he has been drinking less from the dripper. thanks,

I wasn't going to start a colony yet, but wanted to ask questions for when Norman stops eating like a pig every morning. At...

How to keep Gardenia alive in a chameleon enclosure?

Question: How do you keep a Gardenia alive in a Chameleon environment? I don't know if it is too much water, or what, but the lower leaves are turning yellow, dying and falling off. I had one flower bloom, but the rest of the buds keep falling off before blooming. IT gets plenty of light...
