Hey Dart, Any update? Have the last few days been good? My 6 month old Panther has started doing something similar...

    My Panther seems too tame...

Gorgeous! I would say he’s an ambilobe YBBB (yellow body blue bar), which is what mine is ;) Good thing you saved him!

    My Panther seems too tame...

Woah what a cutie! Well, one of our breeders seems to have the dates wrong. I have attached the pictures of my guy who was between 2-2.5 months old when we got him (there was a two week date range). He seems to be considerably bigger than yours was. The one with me holding him was about 6 days...

That's helpful to know, thank you! And what a good looking boy, what locale? I'm assuming RBBB Ambilobe?

    My Panther seems too tame...

Well this would be the ideal situation, but I want to make sure it's not because he hates his house. lol. T5HO is about 10 inches away (based on breeders recommendations). I will look into upgrading the cage soonish.

    My Panther seems too tame...

I am in NO way an expert but he does look younger than 7 months... Because of the age we got Skittles I know that he is close to 4.5 months old just based on the fact that he was a scrawny little button the day we got him. haha How long have you had Pesto? He is gorgeous! Do you have a...

    My Panther seems too tame...

Spam away! ;) I'm not sure his weight but he looks solid. He's a YBBB and his sire is Two Rivers from Kammerflage. Do you have more pics of your guy to share? I live just north of Denver btw :)

    My Panther seems too tame...

I think this may be the issue :/ I have a 2x1.5x3 cage. I got him a smaller one to start and then have plans to upgrade to a Dragon Strand. That said, there are still lots of places in the cage he doesn't explore... I have had him since he was 2-2.5 months old and got him from Kammerflage so I...

    My Panther seems too tame...

I have a gorgeous ambilobe (Skittles) that’s about 4.5 months old. I have made every effort to have him associate me with food. Essentially this means that he eats every worm out of my hands and most crickets or roaches from a cup that I hold. Over the past week he has seemed overly anxious to...

Considerations for taking my chameleon outside

Oh man there's a few of you! haha. Is there a CO Keepers Thread? I'm never more than 4 feet away (much to his dismay I'm sure). haha Oh, I'M SO EXCITED! Does the August contest submission open August 1st?

Considerations for taking my chameleon outside

Thanks! He's definitely growing into his namesake. Photography is kinda my thing so I can't think of a better pet to have (besides a lion or leopard ;)

Considerations for taking my chameleon outside

Thanks, when he just stares at the sun I get concerned but I will stop worrying. The information you provided regarding times and temps is helpful as well!

Considerations for taking my chameleon outside

Jellybean is an amazing name! haha Thank you, I'm currently trying to determine when the gaping is from him being too hot or frustrated with me or concerned that a finch just flew by. Edit: I just saw that you are from CO... me too! :)

Considerations for taking my chameleon outside

Hello! I’m a newcomer to the community but have been learning a lot over the months from you all. Thanks! We have a 4 month old male Panther Chameleon and I’ve gotten into the habit of taking him outside (along with his ficus) to eat some of his meals. I’m really hoping to get him to associate...

    Silkworms for Juvenile Panther

Oh so they don’t NEED to “overwinter”?

    Silkworms for Juvenile Panther

Thanks! I'll search for the most recent one by Snitz! I planned on doing this as a bit of a trial... I've read quite a lot of comments about eggs not hatching at all so I'm a little concerned to "bank" on that. However, silkworms seem like an excellent feeder as they don't hop or run super...

    Silkworms for Juvenile Panther

Thank you for your help. This is a new world for me ;) Side note, I’m planning on buying 500 more eggs and see that there are many different kinds (zebra, gold, pink, etc). Which do you recommend I try or is there no difference besides color of cocoon?
