I used them and they ate them up, but there were problems. They got so big that it was hard to eat, he would be licking for about 2 min. They also have an iron grip, he would shoot and not be able to rip it off the branch! He had to follow his toung to the worm. This happened twice then no...
I second this, very great feeder seller. I get my crickets from them as well and they package them in a way that I dont ever loose them. I always have problems getting them into my cricket keeper but they use nice tubes that you can just dump in.
Maybe hes just lazy. Mine will do that sometimes to the silkworms, He will shoot the first one them walk up to the rest. He will shoot crickets from across the cage.
I was hand feeding my 10 month old panther a silk worm this morning and when he shot at it he grabbed it and my finger. It pulled him down to my hand and he bit my whole finger with the silk worm. Can this hurt his toung? He seemed fine a min later he shot a cricket from across the cage.
clean it off with a 10% bleach wash. Rinse it very well then place it in the oven at 350 for 30 min. Nothing will be on it then. Its the safest way to treat outside wood.

I had the same thing, go get a simple plastic cup and cut the bottem out. Then use a small piece of aluminium screen and some elmers glue. You now have a nice feeder cup that the crickets cant chew though and water passes. I attached it to the side of the cage with two paperclips that I taped...
its just like the news around here most of the time. Only the bad gets talked about. Only problems are interesting.
Wow thats an awsome vailed! Breed him now!
give him time. Dont take him out much now just have your hands in the cage working so he gets use to your pressence first. I think thats the best way. My panther only puffs a little now with my hands right next to his head. He use to get up, hiss and bite when I was 1ft away. Now I can be...
my guy got burned a little in a few spots. They turned black then white. They stay white now. Just dont get cheap temp guages for the basking area... they made me think I needed more power, so he got burned. I put in a nice digital one and the old bulb was just right all along.
