I try to appreciate their individual look but I compare him to a beautiful bright green and yellow Jackson I had years ago. It’s hard not to wish for those vibrant colors. Lol.

Thanks. I know this is a cosmetic concern, but what are the odds he will end up green? He was brown when I opened the box and turned black and has been since. I’m hopeful he will be more green after he gets used to his new home.
I’ve messaged underground reptiles but I’m not sure what I should do about it. I don’t want a possibly sick chameleon. What if they just say he looks normal?
I think I see it now. Looking at pictures of other chameleons online it looks like the lip area is usually flat and doesn’t stick out at all. Is that right?
