What kind of roaches are these?

Hello, I hope somebody knows what kind of roaches are these. I got them on a pet store but didn't ask what kind they were because I thought I picked some Madagascar roaches, but they are not. Thanks in advance

    Baby Cham won’t eat anything

Hello, my cham did something similar in the beginning, as well as providing smaller crickets or feeders in general I recommend you to use a feed cup so you can track easier how much does he it and make it easier for him to "hunt" them. At the beginning my Cham never ate when I was in the room...

    More questions about temps?

Hello, 100F is a lot. I remember your Cham is a young one, my vet told me that young chams (less than 6 month) are not able to realize when it's too hot for them, mine got dehydrated because of this. So you should provide your Cham 85F in his basking spot. You can change your bulb or maybe move...

    Cage temps

I really recommend you to read the Veiled Chameleon caresheet in the resources "area". I learned all the basics there. Also, I am no expert but what I know is that Vit D3 is needed to process calcium, and chams produce it themselves when exposed to UVB, that's why you need this kind of lamp...

    Cage temps

I got my veiled Cham when he was 1 month old, and he got dehydrated with the basking spot above at 90F. From personal experience I'd recommend you to cool down the basking spot to 85F. Your set up looks wonderful!

    Mean baby veiled

I was in the same situation 1 month ago my chameleon is 4 months old. I use a cup but I put my hand on his way to the cup so he has to decide to get in my hand to reach the crickets or whatever I'm feeding him hehehe, it is working so far. Now he sees my hand and doesn't run away or "scream", I...

    Building a Screen Cage

Hello, I am new with my veiled chameleon but I can share what I did for him. I bought 1-1/2"x2"x8' timber, used nails and a galvanized wire mesh (the one for the windows). The cage is 2'x2'x4' and my chameleon seems pretty good so far, he have been in there for 3 months now. I glued the edges...
