i just got a scheflerra plant to put in the chameleon cage, and i am going to put it in a different pot and rocks on top of the soil, but i was wondering because i want to replace some of the top soil, what type of dirt should i get to put on top that doesn’t have fertilizer or anything?

I like in texas, which is a bit humid, or feels that way anyway, but the air conditioning eliminates a lot of humidity.

i might, not sure yet, the bin will probably hang a few inches off the shelf it will be on though. if i does hang out i will probably put it on the bottom so no excess water will be hanging around, and i might use a simple elbow tube or something so it is easier. if you have any other ideas i...
