I would take him to the vet tomorrow to get him checked, but unfortunately tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day here in the US and my vet is closed, so hopefully I can get him in on Friday! MBD is reversible correct?
Oh I was afraid of that, as he didn't have proper calcium supplements until this past Friday... That was in the back of my mind but I didn't want to admit it to my self (nobody likes to see their pets hurting, right?). Depending on what everyone else says, I may be paying my vet a visit :(
Hey everyone! For the past month I have been wanting to upgrade my cham to a much bigger cage, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience building screen cages? I could easily buy one, but I think building it might be a fun adventure as well as I could customize it. I was thinking about...
Hello again everyone. I hoped I wouldn't have to post a new thread in the health forums for a while (or ever again, I hate when something's wrong!) but here I am. I was ill informed when I first bought my male veiled chameleon in that I wasn't told that I needed cal with d3, in fact I had no...
Thank you everyone for the advice! I now have a calcium with D3 and one without! Will begin using tomorrow! Luckily there is a reptile vet very close to where I live, so if I don't see improvement in the next couple of days I'll take Blue there asap. Really hope this is the cause of his issues...
This is his supplement. As this contains calcium, does he need an additional calcium supplement? I don't give him any D3... now I'm panicking that should have been giving him more calcium... :,(
Hey everybody! My 6 month old male Cham seems to be very wobbly when he walks/climbs? He also sits low to the ground (see photo 1) as opposed to normally. He only leaves his cage when I clean it and when he is out he is on his basking tree is a sunny spot by the window. He seems to spend a lot...
The sap from this one (whatever it is) is clear, and I will continue to monitor him. So far he seems fine, even ate the last cricket that was in cage from when I fed him this morning a little while ago... He is currently asleep. Fingers crossed everything will be ok!
Thank's
for the great info! He sees to love being out! I don't leave him out for more then 10 minutes though, because like you said, he needs to stay under his uvb light! Sitting on my shoulder is his special treat whenever I need to clean the tank! ;) Whenever he wants out, he sits at the...
Here you go. It's the light green one in the middle. My thoughts are that it's young burrows tail. I just got them about a month ago so they are still small.
