I think it would be best to put him back into his cage. He could wander off. Handling chameleons once for a few seconds will not usually stress a chameleon out.

I just got a male panther chameleon from somebody on these forums about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Ever since he's been here he as moved very rarely and I have never seen him eat or drink, but he has no signs of dehydration and he doesn't look to skinny. Does anybody know how to get him active and...

She did when she was younger but not as much anymore.

She is usually this color but occasionally turns a bit more red

She is about 6-7 months

I have an ambilobe panther and she looks exactly like that but with a lot more pink. I'll post some pics soon so you can see what she looks like.

Those colors looked just like me female panthers when she was younger.

Ok. Thanks. I was also looking to get a female later, but now I think I want a male. Do any of ou by chance have a male ambilobe that is under $200 and can ship. I live in Oregon.

How can you tell is a girl, just for future reference. And is there any possible chance it is male?

Also, if it is really a female, when will she start laying eggs so I can be prepared.
