I have noticed that Darwin has a nasolacrimal duct obstruction. His left eye sometimes builds up with tears and has a small bump right before his nostril. I work in Ophthalmology and he is showing the same symptoms as a person would with the same problem. Normally we would do an lavage...

Need suggestions for a good chameleon vet in dallas/rockwall area of texas

Poor Darwin's right eye is concerning me, it looks to me like some shed around the eye is not sloughing off, i can tell this is bothering him, he is sitting in his bright colors and hanging out where he sleeps. I have been soaking and increasing the humidity, it looks like he cant close his eye...

Chin rubbing, lost scales/skin on face.

Also looks like chew marks from crickets. Is there a chance you have some roaming free in the cage? Sometimes they will predate on sleeping lizards, the eyes and lips are at most risk.

Chin rubbing, lost scales/skin on face.

At this point keep a close eye on it, most likely scar tissue, hopefully at the next shed it will clean up some. I would try not to use the med until it starts to change in looks for the worse. Wife wants a Nosy, I want an Ambilobe

I kinda feel if you like both locals, maybe look into the Ambanja local, they are a good mix of both, lots of deep blues like the nosy, with the color striation of Anbilobe with some red and stark white banding.
