I wouldn't feed him with it either, it could have some parasite.

That usually happens when you over supplement the chameleon, it happened to mine so I started not giving him calcium that often and it stopped, it's a method they use to remove the excess minerals.

I have a little dripper and it works perfectly fine, you can adjust the valve so it drips more , or less. I leave the dripping all day at one drip per second. I recommend buying one (y)

If she's sleeping during the day , that's not a good signal, I'd take her to the vet , but maybe someone more experiences here can give more details

Mine also gets a darker color when he is in his basking spot or taking natural light, but as the others say, the naps are not really a good sign.

Mine is also a a 3 month old veiled chameleon, it finished shedding in around 4 days, so maybe you can help her with the shedding, mist the cage more frequently and try to get a fine mist touching the chameleon. (y)
