Tarzan, my 7-8 month old nosey be panther has recently moved into his new, larger enclosure . For the first two days he was ok but now he is showing black colouration that I haven't seen on him before. He has been like this for two days now.

The cage is 2ft X 2ft X 3ft. If I'd done a bit more research before starting I'd probably have gone a bit bigger.
I just used standard expanding foam - with the amount of sealant I used and grouting and a really long curing time (2 months) I figured it would be safe.
I have used acrylic child safe paint and then sealed it with a mixture of pond safe sealant and child/toy safe clear sealant paint

Still going slowly, bit of a waiting game between layers, sigh... But, finally the first coat of base paint is going on! Looking very dark and monotone, but this is the darkest colour and the final finish should be quite light :) aching arms already!

I've been feeding my 3-4 month old Panther crickets for the past 4 weeks whilst he settles in and I stock up on other feeders. Recently I've tried feeding him calci worms and he just LOVES them and goes crazy for them.
Only problems is that his poop smells soooo bad...
Nope, no pool. There is a small drainage hole at the back, leading to a water collection tank for any run off. The middle bit is sloped towards the back, hope that explains it!
