Haha. Mine is polite, he finishes what he snaps up but won't go for it anymore. I will try all different types. I want to try some flies as well. Heard blue bottle flies are fun for him.

Thank you for the compliment. I keep reading that here so might be the case. I'd guess him to be about 7 inches or 8 max. The horn worms I was told to feed him 1 a day since they grow so fast. I will see how he reacts to them and might share them with a friend who also owns a cham.

Thanks for input. Will start off by buying enough for him to eat for a week and go from there. Once I feel more comfortable and have a enter understanding on them I will consider getting a colony started.

How many roaches per day would you guys say is good for a 6 to 8 month old male panther?

I will be going to the store tomorrow to see what other options they have for him. My wife is freaked out of cockroaches but will see how she reacts tomorrow when she sees them. Are they kept similar to crickets? Also how many roaches a day is recommended?
