So my beautiful chameleon moe is going through an eating stage, thing, in his life right now. He ate only small crickets and phenox worms when <4 months. Then i went to full size crickets, well gutloaded with cricket crack and my own veggy mixture, and silkworms. He loved the super worms bu...

Hello, have been a chameleon owner for about 2 months now, and feel as if i have been doing a pretty good job taking care of him. I was just wanting to start a thread about the chameleon's color. My 6 month old male seems to be a brown/brownish green most of the time. He eats, drinks, and...

Im going to go ahead and drip i think, just to make sure that the water is available if he wants it. Thank you guys for the quick responses,...don't know what i would do without this site.
So i plan on using a dripping water method, as apposed to the waterfall i purchased, to administer the daily watering. My question is how much water do i give and how many times a day. The jug that i am using can hold alot but i am curious about how much water to give per drip session with a...

cham cage
Every thing in the cage is natural and alive. Except for the 2 fake vines woven throughout the ficus.
The cage is 4 foot tall, 30" wide and 26" deep. It is this big b/c i plan on getting a larger chameleon, when i do. And i have already gotten the stand for it to go onto, once i...
Here are the pics that i have been wanting some advise on. There are two 36" 30 W zoo med 5.0 bulbs hanging vertically in the front two inside corners. There is a ficus tree and a pothos vine. I just wanted to get some feed back, and to know if that is enough uvb light for the plants. Also...
What to feed the feeder roaches
So i have decided to go with either roaches or something other than crickets, but have found that making my own feed is very difficult and expensive. Also that the proportions would be hard to get right. My question: Is there any commercial feed that does a...

So i have been preparing for the purchase of a veiled chameleon. I have the cage built and filled with ficus and pothos plants for food and i was planing on making my own recipe for food but i wanted to know if i could freeze the crickets once they have been properly gut loaded. If not how...
