My Schefflera plant has grown about a foot in height the 2 months i had it in my 8 month veiled enclosure....still learning plants tho. Is the plant trying to grow another branch?and if so am I suppose to help it in some way? Thanks Everyone :)
*BTW while your liftin your cham if his tail is still wrapped around a branch or what not do not test his strength and pull him away, be calm and let him relax his tail muscles.....*wash your hands b4 handling :)
For 10 cages......if your running 1 nozzle in each cage the basic starter mistking package will do the trick.....you will just need extra tubing line, 4 more nozzles, and 4 T adapters. I bought mine at LLLreptile.com and also bought the hangers for the screen cages. Works amazing. The starter...
Garbage orange cubes....i have a can of those un opened, are they useful to me at all for gutloading anything?roaches, supers, ect? Or are they best to be in the bottom of.my trash can ha?
Haha i must have worded that wrong. Definitely not comparing sexes. I was simply stating that around 7 months ive always seem a bit more pattern in there colors.
Im spot on with temps. 4x2x2ft screen cage. Mistking runs keeping humidity steady and well hydrated. Temps from basking to bottom- 82°f-85°f basking. Floor temperature is at a steady 70°f.
Im sorry but ive never seen a veiled look so premature with patterns and color..... this is my veiled i rescused from a petco and he is 7 months old as well
Definitely looks older than 8 months...1 thing that i know on the appetite... GET SOME HORNWORMS! I dont know what it is but everytime my veileds became sluggish and appetite decreased, feeding a couple hornworms a week got my veiled very excited. Not saying it will fix your situation but they...

-This is what i have. Crickets...
Incandescent bulbs are cheap and do the trick. I would buy 2 different wattage types(75&100watt) test each ones temp at your highest basking branch. That will help you with trial and error for basking temps.
Looks great!!! If you get your hands on more vine, weave the vine in and out of each ladder spindle.....give it a more jungle look....keep up the good work. Sounds like your cham got spoiled :)
