As info the paper towel wasn’t taking up that much space. When I opened the shipping container he was sitting on the bottom of the cup with plenty of room. The paper towel shifted around like that as he climbed on top of it wanting out while I quickly snapped the picture before transferring him...

Yah, and I’m near a major distribution center. Picked him up minutes after they opened. Here’s another in cage:

Less than 20 hours. There was plenty of room. Picture is deceiving. He’s doing fine and eating already.

Figured I'd add some pics....I hot glued some dirt on top of the bulkhead to help hide it a bit as well. All the water flows towards this corner for drainage. I used to have the bulkhead top mounted but the lip prevented getting all the water drained so I moved it underneath and glued it in place.

I drain into a bucket below the cage. Drain is in the front right corner. Easy enough to shim the tray underneath to direct the water if necessary. I also glued a bulkhead fitting below the hole in tray for the water to guide the flow into the bucket. Just to make sure water doesn’t creep...
