Im sure a piece of plexiglass will work just fine for the bottom of your cage. Seems all it is is a cheap think piece of plexiglass anyhow

For my heat source do I have to use the blue tint heat bulb for my chameleon or can I use the normal white day heat bulbs? Most set ups I have seen had the blue tint but wanted to check as I also have turtles and use the normal lights with them and I bought like 15 bulbs when they were on sale.

So far I haven't had any issues with humidity. Will see what the colder months bring. when I have to run the furnace all winter it gets pretty dry in my house.

Just got my new 24x24x48 reptibreeze cage. Have a monsoon misting system set up with it. Dual dome with reptisun 5.0 (have a 24in hood with reptisun 5.0 otw to replace this) and day basking bulb. Live hibiscus plant. Fake fines and zoo med jungle vines.

I just purchased a new misting system for my cham. How often do I need to run it? Do I mist say every 4 hours and let it run even during the night? My house stays around 70deg year round right now humidity stays around 50% in non basking areas of the cage. Cage is a 24x24x48 reptibreeze. Just...

Yea I purchases a monsoon mister and a reptibreeze 24x24x48 cage that will arrive by monday. I plan to redecorate and use the cage in photo as an outside cage. Which light do you recommend? I bought a 24 inch hood for the new cage still need to purchase the light and more decorations.
