I have 2 dual t5 tropic blaze fixtures. 1 with a plant pro bulb and 12%arcadia uvb bulb. The other fixture has 2 6500k daylight bulbs. (And also a basking bulb). Can I shut down the daylight bulbs at mid day due to too much heat in the room? I know some stagger the lighting in their enclosures...
Absolutely amazing gut load for my crickets, dubias and superworms. I've noticed, in a short time, that my cricket feeders are more lively and die off has even reduced a good deal. Thanks Nick Barta, and my chameleon and bugs for that matter, thank you too.
Missing sub adult veiled. He escaped his enclosure when I forgot to shut his cage. Was open for less than an hour. Iv'e been searching to no avail. Is there a place these guys like to go to? I got distracted when my wife needed help getting the kids out of the car. Im an idiot
My 5-6 month make veiled loves eating the big pothos in his enclosure. Would like him to have more edible non insect options.
1. What should I feed him as far as veggies and fruits? What's the best?
2. How do I present it to him ie feeding cup/dish, hang on branches ect?
I gut-load (crix, dubias and siperworms) with collards, kale, mustard greens and carrot along with dry bug burger. Is it overkill to feed my "waiting to go to the gutload chamber"of crix and dubias the same mix as I gutload with. Or, is it not necessary to do this? I change the greens and...
Purchased from site sponsor. Male Veiled. The place I acquired him said "well started," 7"-9". When I called to inquire, they stated, "possibly 4-6 months." Would the Veil owners agree or have a more accurate estimate?
-Thanks

Juvie male Veiled probably 5-6 months old. I've had him two weeks and dusted with above mentioned Ca w/ D3 and Reptivite. Can or should I combine the two supplements? How do I know I'm using enough supplement. I dusted 8-9 crickets and plan on dusting some dubia roaches a bit later today.
Only 4 days into caring for my new veiled juviniel male. I would like to rearrange a few things like branches and possibly my misting nozzles. My question is should I wait for Monty to settle in more before I make changes to his new home?
I've read many care sheets and husbandry artices and keep seeing different info. I have a male juvinile Veiled. I'm in Rhode Island and my house can dip below 60f at night. Some people say in a natural habitat veileds could see 40f temps. Is around 60f at night acceptable for my little guy?
