having worked with animals all my life near enough i am no stranger to euthanasia, and as time passes i feel she is getting a good quality of life.
as i said she was posted through a letter box before being handed to me so i have no clue of her background history, hopefully she lives a good...
thank you Dr.O
we have been given similar advice, and the vet in question is almost sure that if we remove "said lump" then the female in question will die :(
at the same time is it fair to keep her going as she is?
she seems to eat well, looks well and moves well, but for how long?

yeah my friends vet came back and just said drain as and when there is nothing we can do!
so i phoned my zoo vet who said she was curious about it, did tests and determined it was a tumor causing the fluid, the fluid is not bacterial or harmful in anyway just a build up of by-product from the...
i can drain it myself if need be, like i said i had a zoo vet look at it who has years of reptile experience.
we have had her months now and drained it once, just a clear fluid which comes out.
don't want to drain it to often as will cause a build up of scar tissue, at the same time don't want...
Meet Morph!

The vet I took her to was recommended by a freind, I too was suspicios of this advice and also have never seen something like this before
I am good friends with a zoo vet who is interested to see this lump but is currently busy for a while once she has seen it I will let you guys know what she...
Her urates are a white and look healthy
The lump when drained contained clear fluid, was told to drain when started to look big again, but that there was nothing really we could do for her :/
Anyone else seen a lump like this on a panther if so what was the outcome?
She is grumpy in this pic as she had just got back to ours, she has a fluid filled lump on front left leg which you can see which has been seen by a vet and am told to just drain as and when it needs to, no clear signs of MBD to my knowledge, photos seem to come out sideways when I use my phone...
Hey
I have just rescued a female panther of about 11months old with no records or history apart from being posted through the letter box of my friends reptile store, anyway she seems to have really perked up and put on wait since coming home with me but we have noticed her tongue doesn't seem...
