my veiled eats a decent amount of the umbrella plant that I have in his viv, I havent seen anything abnormal but ive heard people say that its an indication that he isnt getting enough water.

im wondering when my veiled will get bigger. I just got him rep-cal and im trying to do a better job of gutloading his feeders but Im always at work never at home... sigh.

im thinking about the dual light combo too. uvb and heat.

get a big critter keeper and put some of the small reptile wood chips down in it, thats what i do and it doesnt smell at all now.

they really dont need much water or looking after. if it looks like it needs it fill up a glass and pour it in, i learned after i killed my first one lol... i have more problems with my veiled eating the plant the i do keeping it watered lol.. :rolleyes:

i have the regular schefflera, or the non variegated one. My veiled cham loves it. even eats the leaves from time to time. I know because of the triangular cookie cutter shapes in some of the leaves lol

its probably just the move from enclosures. I'm no expert though. someone else here may be able to assist you better.

I'd say a large enough container throw a branch of vine in there and drape it with something so hes docile and in sleep mode. Might be wrong but that would probably reduce the stress factor.

I wish I could fall asleep in 10 mins lol would make life alot easier for me the next day. My veiled does the same thing, literally and figuratively out like a light lol or his light for that matter.. haha :D

I have a 7-8 month veiled as well. sometimes he falls asleep with his head in the air, not sure if thats what you have going on. Its nice he doesnt mind the water bottle either, lol if that was my cham he'd be running from the water.
