I could not hold out any longer. Tried to get some perreti, however, they were sold out. Instead I ordered this quad trio from backwater. I'm glad I did; I could not be happier with the quality. The male is 68.3 g. and two females are 30.8, and 36.8g. I really look forward to working with these...
I just got this girl a couple weeks ago. She was looking a little rough, so I was trying to leave her alone. She is looking pretty good now. Anyway, she has been brown the whole time. These girls seem to come in a variety of colors. I'm enjoying them more and more as I work with them. Not a...

Hello all,
I have had a couple problems with my egg production as of late, but I always have hornworm food available for those who are in need. I have used this food for several months now with great success. It is a very high quality food. I will have eggs again shorty also. I'll advertise...
After exactly 17 weeks my deremensis eggs are hatching. Three babies have completely emerged, and 10 more of the eggs have pipped. Here are some of the pictures I have got so far.
I have been very busy, so I did not get to post pictures earlier. These guys were born on April 23. They will be three weeks old on Wednesday. Only got 3 of them but they are doing very well. They are eating tons of fruit flies, bean Beatles, and tiny hornworms.

It's been over 4 months since my first female last mated, and she is huge. Not sure how big an average deremensis is. Being in Colorado, I only get what they send me. She was 85 grams when I got her, and currently is approaching 130. My other female is currently 83g and is 2-3 months gravid...

Hello all,
If you live in Colorado, I am selling off my excess feeders.
I am sitting on at least 1000 medium to large silkworms. I am making deli cups full of them and am asking $10 per cup. Each cup will contain 50 medium or 25 large. I also have some small hatching out any day. I can do 100...
Hello all,
I purchased a group of f. lateralis about 7 weeks ago. They are wild caught and this last week 3 of my females laid eggs. I set up their cages with a laying bin, just like I have done with other species I have worked with. All 3 females just scattered the eggs around the cage...
This last week my yellow/orange female deremensis turned a very light green color. I placed the male that I wanted her to mate with in her cage. They are never very aggressive torward each other but this time she was even less bothered by him. I could tell she was definety receptive. I kept them...
Terrible picture but all a could get through screen. These are wild caught and I have only had them 3 weeks but they are the healthiest wild caughts I have ever received.
Also received a group of f. lateralis today. If anyone is working with deremensis, sternfeldi, or lateralis I would love...
I have been free ranging my deremensis the last couple day because I have been slowly modifying my drainage system. This morning before work I walked in on them mating. I have only had them a little over a month and was not planning on breeding them this early but I obviously did not prevent it...
Hello everyone,
I received 2.2 deremensis about a week ago. When I first saw this female I was a little worried because her color was very pale. This last week she has changed color from red to brown to yellow. The color she displays most often is almost a canary yellow. I attached a picture...
