    Normal blinking and eye closing?

    My chameleon blinks every so often for a few seconds or more, and sometimes closes one of his eyes for a short span of time. Is this normal? Do other chameleons do this? (I might add that he is almost over with a shedding)

    One eye bigger than the other?

    The panther chameleon I recently purchased has a left eye which is larger than his right eye, and he keeps blinking it. He is also shedding so is it possible he has loose dead skin in his left eye? I am lightly misting his left side with warm water to see if it helps any.

    So I've recently started cultivating my own maggots by placing some fairly old banana pieces in a rubber bin outside where its warm and houseflies can lay.
