I may get some heat for this, but I let my veiled sit on my rear view mirror. Once he even held on to the steering wheel the whole time, had to turn the wheel slow but he didn't mind going upside down. He is always bright green every time we go for a ride.
I am in the planning stage of a diy enclosure. Want to have one long main enclosure that I can split into 2 to 4 smaller ones at will. But before I get too into it I need to know what is too big. I plan to have panthers and a vieled I already have in a 2x2x4. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I agree I need to have more feeders, and I really do want more. Guess I just need to make contact with a store owner and try to work something out.
When I think of how many feeders die from what I buy at the store, 26 sounds like giving them free money for nothing more then what I do now...
Just wanted to know before I did it. I will be gone for 3 weeks out in the field. So the wife will be taking care of him. I think this would be ok to do, and if I can do it with no health risk, why go to the vet to be told to do the same thing?
Odysseus is living the life now with his cage open. For the past month and a half I have had his cage completely open and his tree sitting out side of it so he can go from that to his vines inside with his basking spot at will. He has never left the cage/tree and I always see him sleeping out on...
Reptical for both D3 and without.
I think I wrote wrong, he is less then a year. I got him at what I was told was 6 months, had him for 5 months. No idea about the exact care, got from a breeder at a reptile show.
Its only been going on every so often for about the least month. Just now seen...
I am limited to the feeders, the only ones I can find around me are crickets, mealworms, and superworms. Currently I am breeding my own mealworms and superworms. I want to start a roach colony but the wife isn't liking that idea.
What would be the best gut load for the feeders? Pre made and diy?

My vieled chameleon keeps grabbing his front legs with his back, then he falls cuz he lets go with front thinking he is holding a branch with back legs... The big problem is he is clawing himself so bad he has pierced his skin and making himself bleed... I don't know what to do or how to stop...
