I'm going to miss her. She was a very good Cham. I couldn't have asked for a better one. I appreciate the support. And I also appreciate everyone's help with all my questions about her. Sadly I had a vet that had no idea about Chams.:(
It was about 86 degrees out according to the thermometer. But maybe that was when a cloud rolled in or something. She wasnt outside very long, about 3 hours:( she had a little bit of blood in her mouth from what I could see.
My little cham died. I put her in her outside cage because she was dark and i came back out a little while later and she was bright colored and then about an hour later. She was dead. :(:(:(:(:(:( Just yesterday she was doing better.
Rest in peace Bubbies.
My vet is a long ways away. He has NO IDEA about chameleons. He charges alot too. They said chameleons lick their eyes, yes LICK their eyes. So im working on getting a new vet. So I think what you're doing is a great idea.:)
The dark colors means hes stressed or cold. Are his temperatures right? My Cham has almost the same problem as yours. I was told that it could be she's cold or stressed.
Is that eye goop yellow? My Cham had troubles seeing. She had white goop in both of her eyes. We had to get her medicine. I would say take it to the vet. I believe its an infection. We had to get eye drops for it which had no effect, then we got medicine to treat the inside of the eye and its...
Ive had the cham to the vet multiple times. One of them said the cham should lick his eyes?! Correct me if im wrong but that does not sound like a chameleon more like a gecko.
I am so confused ive had this cham since it was a baby, old enough to be shipped. I took the cham to the vet multiple times. He said nothing about that stuff.:eek: Can I send the cham to ferret in my shoes?
I dont think my vets know what they're doing! One of them said he should LICK...
I haven't given him Herptivite MultiVitamins for a while. And his other eye is closed now. I read on an older thread that it could be an vitamin A deficiency. Could that be the problem?
I cant really remember what color they were, but I remember there were these two red things. I am only giving him calcium syrup, Calcium Glubionate Syrup. I gutload my crickets with flukers orange slices. I ordered him silk worms and hornworms a while back, and he only ate one hornworm. That was...
Yes, he doesn't eat them, but a few weeks ago he ate two meal worms by himself, I force feed him insects sometimes. And ive lubricated his eye with water. What should I feed him? And he doesn't seem to bask. I don't understand how he keeps getting impacted.
My chameleon is around 7 months old and i've had him since November. He is a Blue Bar Ambilobe Panther chameleon. I hold him for about an hour while feeding him. I'm feeding him pear baby food mixed with pedialyte and critical care, and sometimes I give him wax worms and crickets, I sometimes...
He doesn't seem to sit under the basking light much. He usually seems to open his mouth when I feed him or water him. I have two heat lamps on of course his UVB bulb, and its about 82 degrees in the middle of the cage. We have lactulose for my cat, how much should I give him?
