    Exo-terra and jacksonii

Well after setting up a great screened baby nursery for a 3 month old jacksonii I'm getting soon, I'm thinking of taking the glass vivarium route. Fully planted with hydroton and organic soil. Question is, how long ya think a male jacksonii can happily live in a 18x18x24? Thoughts. Thanx.

    Zoomed cork tile

Anybody using this in their enclosure. I saw a vivarium with it and it looked amazing!! I plan on using it in my new build and wondering if it's best left unsealed, or treated with varathane or some other substance. Thanx

    Glass door in enclosure

I have a 93 gallon sw aquarium in the same room, and I live in the mountains. Humidity never drops below 55%. That's without misting.

    Glass door in enclosure

A pic would b great! Only the front door would b glass. The back will b cork, the sides will b half cork and half screen. Also a third screen on the front and of course the top. I'm really liking my design. Probably go with some sort of plastic bottom with a hole in the middle, covered with...

    Glass door in enclosure

I'm building an enclosure for a male jacksonii. Does anybody have any advice or opinions on them? Are they hard to keep clean. With a mistking I'd b concerned with water always accumulating.

    replanting for drainage

I'm in the process of replanting my pothos and schleffera. What's best for adequate drainage? I'm leaning towards organic sea soil (brand name) hydroton and coconut fiber. Any thoughts or experiences? Thanx

o-m-g look at this giant pothos !!

I bought a 20" version of these pothos for my baby cage. This is a great idea. Pvc in the middle surrounded by coconut. No mold and excellent for humidity.

    Keeping the mist inside

Shower curtains don't look all that appealing. I glued some cork to the sides of mine. Looks amazing and holds humidity. You can buy it in rolls by the foot.

    led supplemented lighting

Thanx nightanole. I figure I'll start with the t5's and halogen, then add led if I need it. I was thinking about the baby/juvie cage. Lyr has a wicked 18" cfl unit. Looks perfect for a smaller setup.

    exo terra uvb 150

It seems that all pet stores around here are dedicated to Hagen, therefore exo terra. Anybody Use these cfl's. Any uvb readings on a 6.2. Curious how they compare to a zoomed repti Sun. Thanx. I plan on using a linear arcadia, but gonna go with a cfl for the baby/juvie cage.

    led supplemented lighting

I've been observing many setups on this forum (and YouTube) and it doesn't seem like anybody is using LEDs' as an additional light source. I happen to love the technology and what it can do for a screen home. I'm thinking a couple t5s (12%arcadia and 6500k) a basking lamp and a 5000k led would...
