Ok now you all got me wondering about the locale. So there are different panther chameleon? Which I kind of knew because I saw red bars and blue bars and some just all blue. But if you wanted to breed them you would have to make sure they were from the same locale?

Call the pet store and ask for the manager. Be nice but let them know your not happy that they sold this Cam in this shape and you are already in love with it. See if they will help with the vet bill. I got mine and after the 14 days found out it had mouth rot and they still picked up the bill...

TY will try that ;) I was a little worried about his sheding also. He sheded about 10 days ago but he didn't shed the top half of him or his tail. all my other lizards I had shed everything. Is this something to be worried about? Ty for you help ;)

No, he took a Q tip and wiped out a black spot that was there. I will keep a eye on it to make sure it don't come back.

Just got back from the vet. It was mouth rot, they cleaned it and they gave me Muricin to use 2x a day for 10 days.

I hope this is ok to post here. I came across this site Build Your Own Chameleon Lizard Cage. I had to do this for mine because it took a few days for his big cage to get here. I made this for less than $15 and it could help till you could get one. i would think this would be better than a tank...
