Is this okay for a jacksons chameleon? plus i spray his cage from 5-10 times daily
lol wheres my $50? i dont have any live plants, ive got fake vines and branches in there :) and yeah i was thinking the same thing about the form.... ive already done that once, it sucked. and it didnt help any
When i went to turn the lights off for the night, i spotted a fly in his cage. IDK what kind it was, looked like a gnat. How did it get in there???? is this bad????
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Jackson's, ive had it since last wednesday.
Handling - i do not handle him much. ive taken him outside once, and he enjoyed it. but im letting him get more comfortable with me before i do anything else so he doesnt get stressed out.
Feeding - i feed him...
okay, ive been hand feeding him since i got him. but ill do that. i just dont want to miss a cricket, and something happen to the cham over night... but the nightlight isnt but a 40 watt and its about 6" above the enclosure. Its usually 63-69 degrees at night in the warmest spot.
When they grow to adult, what colors would he be ABLE to change to? any? or just certain colors?
I would just google the answer, but i like asking people that have experienced it themselves.
:) thanks!
I usually feed him when i wake up, around 9 AM then sometime in the evening. then right before i turn the night light on. he usually eats around 3-5 crickets per serving. i just got him last week. im not sure how old he is. but i know he is a juvenile. its a Jackson's Cham.
Is he eating too...
before owning a pet, you should definitely research how to care for it. so that you know exactly what to do when you get it. and not have any question afterwards. After youve done all that, feel free to ask for other pet owner's opinions.
