i use 100w basking bulb but at the right distance away. and ive got a temp gun to double check my temps. and i have a 75w down the bottom which keeps the temps just right. i live in england and the weather is quite cold here, and its summer. weve had one week of decent hot weather so far :mad:

thought i would get a pothos plant for my cage. after searching everywhere for one, i finally got my hands on it :) my female veiled hiding in her new pothos plant :)

yes it was fine with the high humidity. i used varnish with polyurethane in it, which i heard is waterproof. it worked well for me

i do know that mesh cages have pvc at the bottom. i was thinking about the basking spot. but saying that, ive got a mesh flexarium cage and the mesh fells like some sort of plastic. ive got the basking light about 6" away. so yeah should be ok with pvc.

i like the look of this. looking forward to the end product. i also like doing this sort of stuff, and have made a enclosure before. i used varnish on my last cage i built which worked well, and i had water dragons which needed high humidity. are you going to make a door for the front? as...

i use prorep plain calcium every feeding, and i would recommend it. and i use nutrobal twice a month. hope shes gets better. good luck in the future.

nutrobal is a calcium balancer, with vitamin and calcium with d3. this shouldnt be used no more than 3 times a month. i use it twice a month, and my female veiled is fine.

yes that would look realy good. i cant seem to find pothos plants, ive looked everywhere for them. dont seem easy to get here in england:(
