Seems to me that the humidty needs to be raised to aid in shedding, and no ive never seen 1 just sit like that, id mist enclosure 3 or 4 times a day for a short period each time and see if that helps, as yes of course feed him while hes shedding

Do you have any drains in the bottom for the water to drain out of? I put 2" PVC drains in every cage base that way water doesnt collect in the bottom of it, it drains out.
