also she doesn't want to eat crickets around her cage, i know she doesnt have the energy to pursue, but i am strongly considering tong feeding her or using canned crickets or something i need her to EAT!!
she is about 10-11 months, i've had her for about 2 weeks now, i adopted her
and i have a trash can container that fits in her cage with good measurements now the only thing is i had moist vermiculite mixed with sand but its kind of hard and not easy for her to move around
thing is..i work at a local pet store and i am real good with care and what reptiles need the only thing is breeding/pregnancy is like hieroglyphics to me...a customer that bought her wanted me to adopt her and i feel like its difficult to get her to lay i don't want her to go egg bound
what should they look like anyone have pics of infertiles? and i tried everything, a laying bin, substrate on the bottom of her cage, covered her cage she still hasn't laid
so she laid a few lima bean looking eggs the other day and this morning this is what i woke up to
my question is, how many eggs do they lay if she got pregnant on her own? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere
my female got herself pregnant and i want to mate her with a male but she isn't laying her infertile eggs i provided a laying bin..should i just use substrate on the bottom instead? i've watched help videos but she is difficult
Ok thanks a lot for the advice I'm taking everything into consideration and the only thing I am still worried about her eyes is it normal? I'll try to make a bid and post tomorrow stay posted
Sounds good well that video made a lot of sense. Now on to her health like I posted her eyes are doing weird things like sucking in a lot and pulsating is tht normal?
ants seem to be DRAWN to soil when i put a container in the cage also waterfall has been out for a month now due to her pregnancy i use dripper system and misting constantly. washed playsand should be the best soil for her to lay her eggs in.
its funny i know a lot about best products and care but we don't do in house breeding at our store so its like HIEROGLYPHICS to me hhaha i wish we did :[
if you guys can give opinion on timespan left before she lays? i want to provide perfect laying ground for her and make her feel comfortable to lay eggs
i dont feed her worms everyday its one in a while her MAIN STAPLE calcium covered crickets, and occasional wax worms. haven't tried roaches but that sounds cool. and its the red night bulb but i keep it on with the solar glow all day to give extra heat
