After baby hatches
How long should I leave a new born to rest in the hatchrite after it has fully emerged.. I have a veiled that seems very week, thought he may need to stay on the ground for now instead of putting him on the "jungle gym" of sticks.. If I water him, with drops on his head will...
I bought these from a lady on Craigslist. She said they were to be a breeding pair. As I have only owner veiled until now I am hoping to find they are a pair
I cannot get more than one pic to save
low humitity
when I first placed eggs in hatch rite the moisture seemed too much, I let them dry out some.. Now I think I may have gone too far.. What will be the result of low humity? Longer incubation? Death? These veiled are one week over 7 months. look good and fat so hopefully it will...
We do both.. We let them hunt the crickets but then we entice them to come out of the cage with a cup of worms.. like a treat.. that way the chams associate you with good stuff. Later they just see me and the cup and come right out.
Thinking of selling the rest of our veiled clutch
I was bummed my husband is working the weekend of the Houston Repticon show.. I was looking forward to taking the last dozen of our veiled babies.. So I was thinking of going to sell at the trade days but don't want to go if it is a waste of...
Hi I met some people that suggested we check out the reptiles at the Canton Trade days, just outside of Dallas..
Has anyone ever been? What is there? Is it worth the hour drive?

how long?
Thanks for getting back to me. Do you know how long I have to finish the final details of the baby bin, from the time they start to sweat?
Also, I did not want to make them hatch early, really wanted to avoid doing it my accident.. More what to avoid..
My first batch is a few days older than 6 months now. I do not see any signs of sweating.. I am starting to get the neonate stuff together, their bin, the jungle gym, the lighting and the misting.. the misting is taking me a little longer to figure out how to make it mist on a timer.. (DIY not a...
Still in Little Rock?
Hi, are you still in Little Rock? My sister lives there, she is looking for a cham to be her first.
Do you ever breed them? She would love to get a veiled and I like the idea of not having to ship them.
Now some are molding..
Roxy's eggs are 24 weeks now. the two bins that were not disturbed are nice white and no changes, the one bin I candled after disturbing it, they started to sweat, then they got blotchy, kinda soft and some have begun to mold.
Not sure if it was them getting turned...
