my panther hasnt eaten since friday. i took the bandage off his front foot which he can not move . no movement in his toes to touch just dangles. it was moving befor the dr lanced his foot, he is still holding on with other 3 legs.i mixed some calcium in his water syringe. any suggestions. thanks

Hi Dr O I have a email of the xrays left front how do i send it to you. my panther is now hanging his rear leg. there is no swelling.the front left is the one that is swollen

follow up i just took him back to the vet. They took another x-ray said it could be a small fracture or maybe gout. To be sure they want to send it to a specialist which will cost me another 115$. If it was gout wouldnt we have seen it coming, instead of him just waking up one day with it...

they did a xray and put a wrap on front foot and gave me pain meds. no mbd just a fracture. the bandage came off in one day. my concern is the swelling and how long befor his foot heals. he still is dangling his foot. thanks

Vet said no mbd. Its a fracture. Its been 1 week still swollen. He is starting to use it to walk. How long does swelling take to go down?

My 2 year old panther has a swollen wrist/foot and has not been walking on it. He sleeps with it dangling down and keeps it up when he is walking. He still eats but is definetly nursing his injury? Should we take him to a vet or see if the swelling goes down.
