Hello...
I have been trying to find the plastic (some say PVC) screen that goes under the silkworms and food and allows the poop fall through for easier clean up...Where can I find it and what is it called? I've been to Home Depot and Lowe's but the people I've asked aren't the brightest...
How long does chow last when kept in the fridge? My last group of silkies grew fast and fat on the fresh stuff, but my current batch aren't growing as fast and are turning a weird brownish color...Any insights? (the chow is going on a month old or so in the fridge)
I chime in with putting them on vines...Both my veileds and panther just eat them up...The veiled will sit on another branch and just eats them as fast as I can put them on...
Hello...
Sorry for the basic newbie question...But I was wondering what the difference is nutritionally between silkworms and waxworms? No one carries silkworms around my area and one store carries waxworms...Would waxworms be good for my chams main food source?
I read the article and that's why I'm thinking about starting my own little colony...I live in the NW burbs in the village of algonquin...Do you raise your silkworms in mass quantity?...mahalo
Thanks for the info...For a silkworm newbie...What is the recommended starting stuff I need? I take it a container, something to strain the dookie, powder food and worms or eggs?
I'm having trouble finding silk worms for my Chams locally...From what I'm reading in this post, raising silkworms isn't that hard and economically wiser from the pocket-book stance? From your article, I take it I can buy in bulk and hatch them as I need to feed my Cham...I just need to make...
I'm glad to see there are pitbull lovers here on the forum...I've raised and and had pitbulls most of my life...I will get another one once my english bulldog passes on...Most of mine have been pure bred Red-nosed, but the next one will be a staffordshire bull terrier...Agreed with the person...
Hello..
I just jumped in after watching for a long while now...I also want to quit chameleon sitting and actually get a couple of my own...I just finished relocating to Illinois and was wondering if there are any Panther breeders out here? I've raised reptiles all my life and have cham-sit...
