Yep, definitely O.septentrionalis, Looks to be a female. Any whom, Your cham really shouldn't bother it, unless the cham has the possibility to attack the frog. However, while chams are diurnal, most hylids are all noctournal...

Well I got him, he's a big male, about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, the only health issues I see is his right eye is sunk in a bit and he has an open wound on his front paw pad, nothing life threatening, Betadine was already put on the wound. Oh yeah, his name is Leon, but I am thinking of renaming him.
Okay, what the deal is, my buddy works at a petstore (A good quality one, not like Petsmart or whatnot) And he calls me today and says "I got you a present...a Veiled Chameleon"...Apparently, some fella has it as a pet, is moving, and can't move him too, so I am adopting him. Anyway, the problem...
She is finally here, my buddy picked her up at the show and just arrived here at 1:30am. She is a very interesting colour, never seen a female with a mustard yellow-ish colour. Mike, what can you tell me about this girl?
I will get photos in the morning.
Hey guys, I was kinda wondering if any of you do preservation of herps. I'm a herpetologist and we've always learned to use cheap old Isopropyl...Was wondering if any of you guys have used other techniques such as skinning, mounting or even liquid preservation. Thanks.
Here are a few of mine...
Well, I was asking because as I was outside doing recordings of gray treefrogs, a cicada whacked me in the back, so I stuck him in a jar I had and found a katydid as well, so I was going to hold them until I got the verdict, even though I know the cicada won't live much longer.
I've been tagged by a copperhead back six years ago, though it was a venomous snake, you should do the same thing I did, GOTO THE HOSPITAL. Reason for it, if you continue to allow it to sit without doctoral care, necrosis can set in, even gangrene, thats the last thing you want.
Myself and another ASEFH member made a trip to the SC sandhills after I got out of work June 10th. We left Gastonia after I got out of work around 5pm or so and headed for McBee, SC (Chesterfield Co.) We finally arrived around 8:30 or so (We won't discuss the Frosty that was spilled on my pants...
Well, I decided since I have some old photos of Monty when he was a bit younger (Not YoY or Juvenile, sub-adult), I'd post them, he's grown since I got him back in April.
Here's Monty at his first day of work, He was employed by ASEFH as a security guard, he was to be patrolling Ward 217...
