5.0 UVB Reptisun for baby veiled...how many hours a day?

Hey I am getting a male baby veiled but read on a web page that because of the sensitivity of the eyes in a baby veiled that the UVB should be only on for 4 hours? And that it should be about 6 - 8 inches from the top so that it doesn't burn the eyes? Is this true?

    Reptilite Brites Sand

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this new sand. They say that it is great for chameleons because it is full of calcium and if ingested it won't hurt them at all, in fact it would be beneficial. So I was wondering what anyone else thinks of it. Thanks:)
