Hey guys I have an opportunity to get a fischers chameleon, I got photos, looks solid to me, but I'm not just gonna jump into it. Anybody know about this particular species?

Yeah! I love when the yellows come out, and his nose is pretty much the most awesome part :D It almost reminds me of a mini version of a fischers....but only one :D haha

I have also heard (but never tried) if you put a branch connecting to a tree right outside the cage, but the branch goes into the cage, and let them come out on their own time, it works well. Think of it this way: Their cage is their comfort zone, when we get them out of their comfort zone...

Hand feeding is a good way, when he relates your hand with good, he won't recognize it as a threat to him, most likely.

Now that more people are awake, any ideas on this? :-)

Yeah that is a good idea, I of course will put much more thought into it before I do it, but I have the Chameleon craze, and every fiber of my soul wants to get another one! DANGIT WHY MUST THEY BE SO AWESOME?!

I was also highly considering elevating the floor of it, kind of making a frame for below where the misting will be, so I can just put some big rocks on the frame, and put a bucket below it. Poor mans drainage system ;) hahaha And when I say a bucket, i mean a large tub, you know what i mean...
