our chameleon wont let us hold her...advice please?

When I got my chameleon I was told not to handle him for one week, to let him get used to his surroundings. He was super scared of me at first. I did offer the crickets by hand and after the week was up I tricked him into climbing onto my hand by holding the branch in front of him and having a...

    How often should he shed?

Thank you that is helpful. I wasn't sure if he was on track since it's been twice as long as the last gap between sheds. The comparison is helpful

    How often should he shed?

My panther chameleon is about 9 months old. I've had him since June. He shed two weeks after I got him, three weeks after that, and.... not at all since then. It has been 6 weeks! He seems like he is due for a shed because his scales are dull and sort of grayish in between the circles, but...

Graceful Chameleon sleeping during the day.

When you mist, how long do you mist for? I can take 5 minutes or so to stimulate them to drink. Try spraying onto a branch or leaf in front of her so that big droplets form that she can see. Also judging by comparison to your hand she looks very small. I wonder if the cage is too big for...

Might have to sell my Cham.

I'm assuming it's the reservoir for a misting system. Hey you could always get rid of it and go back to hand misting! :p

Might have to sell my Cham.

If it's the amount of water that's the problem you could always downgrade your reservoir

Might have to sell my Cham.

How does a chameleon constitute as water furniture? I get that you have 5 gallons of water, but did the landlord actually say he/she considers it water furniture? I thought that rule was for water beds.

    mistking clogged ?

I let my mistking run dry for maybe 2 sessions by mistake once, and after I refilled the reservoir it appeared to be clogged as it wasn't spraying. All I had to do to get it to work was to take all the nozzle pieces apart and then put them back together again.

    Calcium Plus ICB

I was seriously considering switching just this morning so I'm glad to see a post about it. I use rep-cal right now but it has been worrying me because on D3 day it seems like my cham waits until the crickets get most of the dust off before he eats any, so I'm worried that he isn't getting enough.

    Cricket Virus and breeding

jdog that is an excellent point. I'm not like a cricket vet or anything so I could be wrong :p I guess it could be a number of things and if the babies are healthy than that would be awesome! If not I'm going to be frustrated though because these dead crickets are super icky! I'm also...
