    Any Ideas???

She has had a lay box in with her since the day I got her. I like to keep lay sites in with my female chams at all times. I've found that you never know when they're ready to lay. I usually can see some form of lumps on their sides or feel eggs when palpated. She hasn't gone down to the lay box...

    Any Ideas???

She is by herself, that’s how I keep all my chams. The only time they see another cham is about a week before I breed them and then I move the male to across from them. I decrease the space between them a little each day and watch the female. If she shows receptive coloring I place them together...

2 days experience - femail veiled cham laying eggs - yikes!

I've produced several clutches of veiled eggs and most of my females have done the same thing. They will usually finish up when the lights come back on and head for their basking spot. When she is done make sure to give her plenty of water, laying really dehydrates them. I usually wait two days...

She is 13 months old and has already laid a clutch of infertile eggs before I got her. The younger female I still have yet to breed due to her only being 8 months old.

    Any Ideas???

Hey guys I’m new to the forum but I’ve been keeping and breeding reptiles for several years now. One of them being veiled chams, in which I’m very familiar with. About a month ago I picked up a trio of ambilobe that are about 8 months to a year old. 12 days ago I bred one of the females and she...
