I just took a pic and its completely gone, I dont get it. I would really appreciate any help with this. I will be taking him to the vet on monday but I am afraid he wont be showing that black mark when the vet sees him.

Could be a burn, but during the day the black spot is gone. Cant be a bite because I have no other chameleons. I really thought this might be something common and someone would have seen this before, now I am really worried. I guess I will take him to the vet on Monday.

For the last week, every time Spartan sleeps I have noticed this big black spot on his back, during the day its the size of a small mole but at night it gets huge. Here are a few pics, anyone know what this might, does this warrant a vet visit?
