    Keeps eating sand

Do you feed veggies? My female veiled used to eat the eco earth in the lay bin but after I feed her some veggies (I usually feed mustard greens), she doesn't eat the eco earth anymore. I just cut the mustard greens in a very small pieces and put in in the feeding tub with the crickets. When she...

    Need advice for feeding!

Thanks for your replies. I understand what you are saying but what I am concerning or worrying is that she's just over her hunger strike and she's eating really well now. If I change the pattern I really worry about she'll go on another hunger strike again. Maybe I just worry too much but I was...

My cham ate the eco earth in the lay box for about 2 weeks like crazy. She went to the lay box first thing in the morning to has her breakfast. But about 1 week ago she just stopped doing that. It's really weird! But of course, it's good that she doens't eat anymore!:D

How to get crickets to top of the cage

Try something like this. I don't cut the legs. Sometimes the crickets jump out of the tub but I just let them so my cham can go to hunt them.

    lighting?

Although I'm a newbie on Chams, I suggest you buy a new one. I also suggest you buy a UVB tube. I used a coil bulb 5.0 before and yesterday I changed to reptisun 5.0 UVB tube. Today my veiled cham eats a lot more than before. I am not sure if that is revalent to the UVB bulb though.

    Not eating for 5 days!

I tried everything. And finally I found that she ate 3 crickets in the large tub placed on the botton of the cage and 1 cricket on a small cup hanging on the middle of the cage. Hope she will keep on eating tomorrow.

    Not eating for 5 days!

She's in living room from the first day and was fine. The setup is the same except I added the bamboo. She seemed doesn't like it at first (appeared to be very angry) but then seems to be fine. But I just took it out yesterday. I thought she may be stressed too but just can't figure out...
