Hello, i have a breeding pair of bearded pygmy chameleons, and my female has recently developed what looks like a swollen bump over her nasal cavity.
She has recently laid her 3rd successful clutch of eggs and she has gone down hill since then. She was a very avid eater and recently since...
My newest w/c cham is a bit under weight. He is very healthy over all, a good grip, but a little on the skinny side. He is an avid cricket eater he loves his crickets but they aren't really a fatty insect and they aren't helping him put on any weight.
I have been trying to get him to eat...
So i decided to post a thread on chameleons eating repashy. I know my boyfriend posted something about this a while ago when my first female veiled r.i.p maui started eating it. I know many of you were skeptical about this but it is true and she loved it! She would actually spoon feed from a...

He is going to his first vet visit at 4 today for a fecal and an overall check up, due to an odd skin abrasion. I think it may be a fungal infection of some sort since he is w/c so immediate action needed to be taken. Hope he's going to be ok!
I noticed 3 days ago now that one of my week old pygmy chams had one of its eyes shut. It's been three days now and the poor guy still isn't opening his eye and now his tongue aim is off. I can see him still moving it around and such but the actual eyeball itself will not open.
I need some...
So i have three 5 day old pygmies. I've been feeding them fruit flies since they hatched and my pinheads arrived in today. I was wondering roughly how many crickets should i be giving them a day and fruit flies as well?
I dont know if any of you read my one post a few days ago about the pygmy...
So my order of pinheads are arriving in this afternoon for the baby pygmies. Thank God because dealing with fruit flies has been a challenge i'll tell ya.
So what i need to know here is what should i be feeding them and what conditions should i provide so they don't all die on me? Do they do...
Ok so i dont have any pictures of these bump but if you look at the pictures of my two horned chameleon he still has slight marks in the spots where they were. When i first purchased my w/c fisher's he arrived with two white slightly yellowish bumps symmetrical on either side above his hind...
Aka this little fellow is the love of my life. There has not been a single day since i got him where i am able to open his cage to mist him down without him walking right up my arm i am misting with and walking from my shoulders to my head.
HAHA oh ya i forgot poor taz was shedding in these...

So over the past 5 or so days i found baby pygmies in my adult pygmy inclosure. So I put all 3 of them in their own inclosure and have been tending to them. Yesturday I went to go take out their fruit fly cup before they went to bed and i found the little run of them inside the cup unable to get...
So over the past two almost three days i have had three baby bearded pygmies hatchlings appearing in my viv. I have obviously separated them into their own tank. My dad found one this morning while i was at work and put the little munchkin in with his siblings. I have yet to find anymore today...
So i don't know if any of you read my post this morning about the little arrival that popped up in my pygmy cage this morning before work. After arriving home tonight around 10:30 i took a quick peak into the pygmies cage to check on mummy and daddy only to find another little munchkin hanging...
So we picked up the fruit flies for the new pygmy but there is a problem. Is there any way to contain them from running out of the cup or am i supposed to let them just free rang with the baby? Need help please :D
So among my chams i have two bearded pygmy chameleons (w/c) male and female, and a few months ago I noticed she was getting pretty pudgy. I was monitoring her watching for signs of digging or egg laying. But to my disappointment there was nothing. Then she looked back to normal a month or so...
