Hey I was just checking on Lola and I noticed something on her arm, I tried wiping it off with a q-tip but I think it's attached to her. Any idea on what this could be?
ps. the little piece of fuzz hanging off is from the q-tip.
I live in Edmonton, and I don't really know much about the treatment of our water here. To be safe I used bottled water... I get the big jugs of water anyway and their really inexpensive, I figure a whole 4$ jug will probably last a good 2 weeks at least, and that way I don't have to worry about...
Soo, I just got my Mistking mister in the mail I just went and picked up a reservoir to hold the water in however my husband brought up an interesting question. Before we got the mister I just hand sprayed my chameleon. I always boiled the water because I know the chemicals in tap water are bad...
I've been hand misting my chameleon for almost 2 years now several times a day and it's becoming quite the chore. I'm interested in purchasing a good misting system but I need some opinions on which would be the best one to buy.
Heres a picture of the cage if this helps:
Thanks,

Okay, so I went and bought the rubbermaid container, cut a hole in th lid, covered it with screen, filled the container about halfway with sand, put a vine inside with one of her fake plants, I moistened the sand a bit so that she can dig a hole. I took her out of her cage, and put her in it and...
I need some further explanation on this "egg" thing because I have never heard of this before. Let me get this straight, even if she has not mated with another chameleon she can still lay eggs? If this is the case, should I have something set up for her to lay eggs in? and what should I do with...
Lolas behaviour lately has been very strange, but in a good way? Usually she's not very active, she usually just has one spot in her cage that she hangs out in alot and mostly only comes down when it's feeding time. However for like the past week she has been extremely active, climbing all over...
thanks for all your opinions, I guess my next question would be, that if I am to handle her, is there a certain way that I should pick her up and hold her so that I don't freak her out?
I know that many people don't even try to handle their chameleons because it causes a great deal of stress on them, but I also notice that alot of people do handle their chameleons.
does anyone have any ideas on how I can try to tame Lola without stressing her out too much?
I know that...
When I got Lola, it was my very first time ever owning a chameleon. I got her as a gift from my boyfriend for christmas, and when he purchased her they didn't provide a whole lot of information. However, they did say to give her approximately 10, 3 week crickets a day, this is what I've been...

I don't see any blue or yellow, she just turns a really wierd brown color, other than that she's just green. I actually don't know how old she is, she was a gift and the person that gave her to me had none of her information. I'm guessing probably about a year or so, I don't think she could be...
