4 LTC mellers for sale. $1000 for all four. Must go as a group. See my posts about these beauties. Pissy Pete, Plinko, Long & McQuade. Cages available.
I got my wasps @ the Agricultural Research Centre in Southern Alberta... I would go to them to get starter fruit fly cultures when I had an imminent hatch, one time they had no flies to spare and offered me wasps... kinda funny when I got home... "Honey! Check out these parasitic wasps!"... LOL...
They look like parasitic wasps to me... They are used for biological/green fly control @ feed lots and farms around here. I have used them as feeders for hatchlings when fruit flies were unavailable. completely harmless... unless you're a larva... LOL
That very cham is for sale here in Calgary... It is posted on KIJIJI as a "giant chameleon" with its aquarium... yes, aquarium... for $800!!! a wee bit much... If the seller was open to reasonable offers it would already be in my herd. Cheers!
I dont get on the forums much lately... Anyway, I just picked up a nice pair of young WC Ambilobes. Both are having a nice long, much needed drink. Pics to come... Cheers!
The "rain nozzle" or "rain dome" is just a way to elevate a mist nozzle up above your screen top. The mist hitting the screen will sort of hang up and build up droplets that then fall into the cage like "rain" All you need to do is poke a hole that fits whatever nozzle in the bottom of a plastic...
I have found drainage to be a VERY necessary thing. In my personal experience short mist sessions a few seconds long will not stimulate my chams to drink. My mist schedule is 20 min 45 min after lights on @ 9:45am, 20 min @ noon, 15 min @ 3pm and another 15 @ 6:30. I Also regularly mist an hour...
Yea... I dont get on the forums to often lately. Still goin strong with the melleri though. I would be after this one if they would sell just the cham, I have no use for the "tank" though... LOL
