I recently noticed my umbrella scheffler had this wierd sticky substance in one of my makes enclosures and have read that its scale insects. I have removed my chameleon from the enclosure but cant find any information if they are harmful to animals or humans. I will be destroying all the plants...

Wasnt able to get a picture but does anyone's male panther lay on his side when basking??? I've moved his basking spot around and added more places to perch but he prefers to lay flat on his side and then roll over and bask the other. Never seen a chameleon do this.

Was curious where everyone gets there plants from as I live in illinois and it's hard finding good quality so I usually order. Also what fixture and basking bulbs is everyone using I've been using halogens but their life seems to be getting shorter.
