    Morning treat

    Red and orange panther babies

    Panther Camo

    For all their bright colors, male panthers can really blend in. Even with my trained eyes I have trouble locating them at times, in their large walk in enclosures.

    Babies alot of work

    :rolleyes:I've had a few cluthes hatch out this month, and boy is it alot of work keeping their tanks clean and maintained. But worth it when you get to take a minute or two to watch them on the move.

    Painted ladies

    The painted lady butterflies are making their way up the coast from Mexico. I was spotting about 5 per minute yesterday. Was out in the water at Dana Point early Sunday, and as the butterflies sailed by, all I could think about was getting back on land with a net.

    Electric cost

    Good news. I was able to reduce my electric bill by 18% so far this fall/winter. By flipping the light cycle, and making my garage a darkroom. Lights start to come on after 6pm and all are off by 7:00am. Lights also heat thing up when its cold outside, so running heater(s) is only needed on...
